The Upper School and Lower School had a football match this week which ended in a draw! 2-2 was the final score when Dan scored the equaliser in the last minute of the match!

We say goodbye to Mel Weeks at the end of this week. Mel has worked for SSPS for 12 years – we wish her luck in her adventures going forwards!
Bake Off is coming to SSPS!! There is to be an exciting opportunity for students to show off their baking skills – more details to follow but get your recipe books dusted off so you are ready to join in!
Just a reminder that half term is coming up. The last school day before half term is Friday 20th October and we are back to school on Monday 30th October.
Our Key Stage 3 students have been busy repainting our outside classroom area at Dampier Street – Thank you for helping to make our spaces a nice place to be.
This week the students have beautifully decorated their own breakfast plates which they will now use each morning.
In addition to this the staff and students have planted over 350 bulbs around the grounds of the STEPS centre, so we look forward to seeing the beautiful displays of colours next year.
The Key Stage 4 boys are planning an upcoming football match with students from Yeovil College – We wish them the best of luck and we’ll look forward to posting the results!
The students at Wyndham View have cooked a delicious roast chicken dinner this week – we look forward to seeing what they produce next week.
